Breast Surgery Informational Class

The Breast Surgery Informational Class provides valuable information to women who will be undergoing breast surgery.  Each class is facilitated by oncology-trained therapists who help attendees prepare for surgery and recovery.

The class will explore:

  • What to expect before, during and after breast surgery
  • General precautions and suggestions regarding activities of daily living
  • Drain instructions (if needed)
  • Lymphedema precautions (arm measurements will be taken in class so please wear a short sleeve top)
  • Local resources and support information
  • A passport guide to the hospital

Buffalo Therapy Classes

When:  1-3 p.m.  (First, Third and Fourth Monday of every month)

DeGraff Memorial Hospital Classes

When:  5-6:30 p.m. (Second Monday of each month)
Where:  Wellness Center, 445 Tremont Street, Tonawanda
